Standard Bank Group has appointed Tau Mashigo chief technology officer, effective April 1.
He will report to the group’s chief information officer.
Mashigo will drive and support the company’s strategic intent to become a fully digital organisation and assist in the transition to Cloud technology.
He will also be a standing member of the information technology executive committee and will play a role in building and maturing the group’s technology capability.
Mashigo previously spent 12 years working for the South African Revenue Service, serving as group executive for service delivery in digital information services and technology.
