Fasken Enhances its Insolvency and Restructuring Expertise Bench Strength with New Hires

Fasken announces the arrival of Haroon Laher, partner, in the Insolvency and Restructuring Group along with his team members, senior associate Lerothodi Mohale, associate Lillian Mello and legal assistant Charleen van Blerk.

Haroon is well respected for his in-depth knowledge of financial restructuring and insolvency issues and regularly advises major banks and financial institutions, as well as creditors, liquidators and business rescue practitioners in financial restructuring, business rescue and insolvency issues. His experience covers a broad range of industry sectors, which include mining and commodities, energy, retail, telecommunications and agriculture.

He is a dedicated and active board member of the South Africa Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association (SARIPA). Haroon also lectures on insolvency and business rescue to Bachelor of Law students at the University of the Witwatersrand and regularly writes on topical legal issues.
