Infrastructure solutions company Bigen Group has appointed Dr Snowy Khoza group CEO, effective July 16 to September 30, 2021.

Khoza was previously CEO of Bigen Africa Group Holdings, before she was appointed executive chairperson of the group when Bigen established Bigen Global in Mauritius.

The Bigen Group comprises Bigen Africa Group Holdings and Bigen Global.

Meanwhile, patent attorney and engineer Dr McLean Sibanda has been appointed regional MD of Bigen Global.

Bigen Global has subsidiaries in East Africa, with Kenya as a point of entry; in West Africa, with Ghana as a point of entry; and has offices in Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia.

Additionally, Bigen Group established a development advisory and impact division with Dr Mthandazo Ngwenya as the MD. He oversees Bigen’s international development programme across Africa.

Bigen Africa Group Holdings also appointed astute businessman and engineering professional Kelepile Dintwe as independent nonexecutive chairperson, while Bigen Global appointed Richard Arlove its chairperson.

“The joint boards of Bigen remain resolute in maintaining their transformation, indigenisation and inclusivity agenda within the group. The journey continues for Bigen’s greater role in infrastructure development on the African continent,” Khoza said in a statement.
