Industry organisation Consulting Engineers South Africa’s (Cesa's) Aon Engineering Excellence Awards, which will take place on August 16, aim to highlight the significance of collaboration in fostering a dynamic engineering industry and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

"Collaboration plays a crucial role in the consulting engineering industry. Nothing can be achieved in our infrastructure space without embarking on a process of collaboration with partners across a spectrum of industries. This underlines the value of working together to address complex challenges and drive positive change," says Cesa CEO Chris Campbell.

In addition to professional services firm Aon, Trans-Africa Projects is another key sponsor of the Cesa Aon Engineering Excellence Awards and demonstrates its commitment to supporting young professionals in the engineering industry. The involvement of Trans-Africa Projects reflects a shared vision of empowering the next generation of engineering leaders, he added.

"A thriving engineering industry requires collective efforts, fostering innovation, and upholding high standards," he says.

"The Cesa Aon Engineering Excellence Awards will showcase the remarkable projects and individuals that have made a significant impact on society through engineering excellence. It promises to be a night of inspiration, appreciation, and celebration of the consulting engineering profession's achievements."
