Telecommunications giant MTN expects its earnings for the year ended December 31, 2018, to increase by 20%.

Its headline earnings per share (HEPS) and attributable earnings per share (EPS) are anticipated to be 36.4c and 49.2c, respectively, higher than the HEPS and EPS of 182c and 246c recorded in the prior financial year.

MTN plans to publish a more refined, accurate update prior to releasing its financial results for the year on March 7.
